Hello everyone. Good morning and welcome to episode seven or good afternoon. Good evening, wherever you are. Uh, whenever you’re listening to this, welcome and, and thanks for thanks for clicking on this one. I’m so grateful to have you guys here. This is episode seven. I don’t know why, but something about this episode feels so awkward. Um, so bear with me. It’s probably because we’re talking about money a little bit. Or not. Not money, but God’s provision. Um.

Oh, no, I’m nervous. I’m nervous because, um, I’d heard some things in the spirit and it’s a, I don’t know, it’s, um, it’s really exciting to see how, how God is moving. Um, because everybody’s going through the same thing at, at, at the same times. We’re all in it together, you know?

So, um, this, this, for this particular episode, I’m happy that we can, we can all coalesce around. I’m happy that we can all coalesce around, uh, this, this, this, this word. Um, yeah, let me know in the comments if, if this is happening in your life, um, especially if you’re traveling, especially if, especially if you’re planning to, to head out somewhere.

I know summer is over. Uh, but fall fall is around the corner. And that is, I think the best time to travel, like when it’s hot outside, but it’s not so hot that you could be miserable. You know what I mean? Like, uh, like just a nice, cool, cool breeze. You know, some of the leaves are falling, but you can still wear like a skirt with short sleeves.

That’s my that’s my favorite kind of travel weather. So let me know. Let me know if this is, um, if if this is happening to you.

I wanted to talk about loneliness. Um, but I found notes from 2025. I just wrote down some podcasts like topics.

Um, and one of the things that I wrote is that there are things that God has planned on your path that answer all the questions that you have and provide everything that you need. And if you just relax, you’ll live right into them.

And that I think that’s so important. I think that’s so important because we stress a lot and we think a lot about what to do and how to do it. But Jesus says to worry about today. The trouble of today is, is enough on its own.

A Word from the Holy Spirit (3:19)

Um, So yeah, I saw that and and um. Oh that’s right. I had been waiting. Um, it’s just been, it’s just been a month.

It’s been a summer, it’s been a summer. And so yeah, I’ve been asking God what he needed me to do, uh, how he needed me to prepare for, for some new things. And, uh, right after I read these notes, I heard the Holy Spirit say, “Don’t you know we’re already gathering our provisions?”

…And I said, alright, Holy Spirit. No, I didn’t, I didn’t know that. And I looked around, I looked around at my things and indeed, um, by his will, by accident, because I’m not doing it, I’m not doing it consciously. My things, my things are gathered. So yeah, we’re going places.

Uh, and like this episode, if you know, you’re going places too! So yeah, let’s get, let’s get started.

Testimony (4:02)

Um, this episode is called What Travel Taught Me About God’s Provision. And I wanted to talk about my testimony. Um, when I first started doing like real international travel, um, I say real international as in like crossing, crossing, crossing oceans.

I know it’s all real, but I don’t know. It’s, there’s, I don’t know, there’s a difference. You know, when you, when you go to the Bahamas versus like when you, when you go to Europe or when you go to Asia, the, the, I don’t know, the, the comfort that you feel and the familiarity or at least that, that I feel, um, as an American, it’s what you feel in the islands is so homey, I would say, versus going to other places.

So yeah, this was back when I was, um, finally starting to go to other places and I didn’t know how I would pay. I just knew it was like, I’m like, this is happening. I’m going. And so I had started investing little amounts, one hundred dollars, two hundred dollars here and there in the summer prior.

And by God’s grace and His mercy, one of the two of the stocks that I owned, they. They split a stock split is what they what it’s called when you own a stock and then the company divides it up into smaller pieces. And then those pieces, you, you get to own them as like new or smaller slices of the pie that get to grow to be the same size of the original slice of the pie, if that makes sense.

It all just miraculously came together in the perfect amount, plus extra what I needed plus more. And I was able to to. I was able to travel and have the kind of time that I wanted to have, so I wanted to talk about that.

Stay on top of your investments, your finances, and your you’re budgeting. And that way you can go out and, and enjoy and see creation the way that God intended for you.

I’m not gonna lie. I’m like, I’m sitting quietly, just waiting, waiting for the Holy Spirit to, to tell me what to say because I feel like… I feel like that’s good. It’s, it’s about obedience. God’s reward is with him. And so when we need things, we have to we have to obey his word. That’s, that’s the answer.

And I think that actually, that’s, that’s what travel taught me about God’s provision is that it’s you can really just calm down. You know, um, you, you can put down, um, the, the constant scrambling and searching for money and, and stressing about how to pay the bills and, and. all of these things, you can just put them down or rather cast your anxieties on to God because He is the provider. He has the bottom line. He’s got the bottom line.

Okay, then this might be the shortest episode. This, this, this might be the shortest episode this season. Yeah, there’s, there’s not much more to say. Like I really did want to go into a deep dive about it. But the bottom line is that obeying God is how we get our provision.

Scripture (7:40)

Joshua 1:10 says, “So Joshua ordered the officers of the people: “Go through the camp and tell the people, ‘Get your provisions ready. Three days from now, you will cross the Jordan here to go in and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you for your own.”

Heart Talk (7:57)

And that’s all it is. Isn’t it like you’re out there doing your thing like the Israelites were out there in the wilderness, just just living. Because what did they do for forty years? I, I wonder what their day to day looked like. My goodness. Yeah. Um, they were out there just doing their thing, living as the Lord intended for them to live. And then one day it was like, okay, it’s time.

And so I think that’s the only thing that he requires of any of us is for us to just go through, you know, living our lives, being obedient to him as much as we can. And, um, when, when the time for his word to, uh, hits, hits, you’re ready, you’re ready, you’re ready, you’re ready to go in. You’re ready to go.

Do what He called you to do.

So that’s all for this episode. Thank you for thank you for joining. And let’s go ahead and close this episode out with a prayer.

Prayer (9:00)

God, thank You for Your help. Thank You for being a providing God, a victorious God, a God who carries His children through each battle. Give us the courage to wait, grace to have faith and hearts to enjoy your reward. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
